Make a form using melamine, you can buy it at home depot, it’s plywood with a plastic white finish on it, they make nasty cabinetry out of it
Make a smaller mold to push down into the bigger one, grease it with wd-40 or something, a release agent
Use silicone to seal the inside edges and corners
Cast a Q into the top
Cast drink divots around edge
Cast area for cutting board
Embed a compass, bottle caps, glass, an old cell phone, LED lights, anything you want
Mix quikrete with gloved hands
Get 1/2 ribar from home depot and tie them together with wire. Every 1’
Once the concrete is in and all the reinforcing is in, vibrate the shit out of it. I used a sawzall without the blade
If you do have voids in the conrete, you just make a slurry of cement and water and fill in the voids
Make sure you keep the surface wet, start with 400 grit and move up either 1200 or 2000.
